Doing O.K.

Even though I didn’t post much the last couple of day, I must admit I was doing pretty well. It’s been hot here by my standards ... 30C/86F. I know some of the bloggers are giggling at these temperatures ... I’m sure they are thinking ... that is hardly warm. Anyways, we’ve been going out and sitting at my fav outdoor cafes for a cold pop or coffee and muffin. We drove through the park and even stopped to lie down on a blanket under a big shady tree.

Saturday which is usually my worst day of the cycle turned out O.K. I ended up having a couple of naps during the day which really helped. Besides my stomach giving me grief and some other minor issues ... I did pretty well.

Thou last night with the heat, we decided to sleep downstairs which didn’t really agree with me. I was chilled, got a head ache and ended up with intense dreams and therefore a rough sleep. I think, coming off those darn steroids always gives me weird dreams. Oh well ... still not bad, considering.

I know the worst is over and now I can focus on build up some strength.

You are doing so well Daria and I love your blogs. Your temperatures are really, really, really hot by my standards and I understand your suffering because I dont cope well in heat. Mind you it would be nice if the temperatures here were a bit higher xxxx

Yay, a good cycle! In my book that's a cause for celebration. I'm glad to hear you're doing well this time around.
That excursion to the park with a nice blanket under a big old shady tree sounds great. You should spluge on these kinds of trips more often...
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. I hope those strange dreams will go away soon.

Glad you are on the upside swing again. And so glad that you are taking time to do such minor pleasant things as going for a cup of coffee. Bless you.

This heat surely takes it out of you!
Are you done with the steroids now? Those things are so nasty. Rest up and stay cool:)

86 degrees is hot no matter where you live but I guess you wouldn't have air conditionning as it is so rare to have that kind of heat there. We've hardly put the AC on this year. Usually it's on half of the time in the summer. Glad that the meds didn't wipe you out so much today.

Glad your feeling a bit better after this session. have you tried filling a how water bottle with ice cubes when its hot? I used to do it all the time and it helped me a great deal.

Keep positive and on the road to recovery Daria xxx

I don't care where you live, 86 degrees is hot by anyone's standards. And yes, I did sneer a little...it's been in the mid 90's all week down here. :)

Glad you're having a bit better cycle. I hate humidity and excessive heat, it does suck the life out of me! Take car Miss Daria!
