Today I shaved my legs for the first time since August 2008. Tho not having to shave was nice for a while, having my hair back is great. This along with my eye brows and lashes coming in ... my face is now starting to look more normal.
Next on my list is nose hair... yupper, to help stop up my perpetually runny nose. And ... having some hair on my head just adds to my healthier new look. Now I don’t stand out so much. So yay for me!

Yay for you!! My hair has been growing back for about 8 months now. I still don't need to shave my legs nearly as much though. I guess that's one of the few bonuses we get. Glad to hear you are feeling better.
I'm not done with chemo yet and have to shave my legs twice a week. So unfair. I also am rocking the baby eagle look - hair in some places and not others. Will soon be blogging about this unfortunate turn of events.
I remember that when my hair started to return, it came back everywhere EXCEPT my armpits! For the longest time, about a year I think, I didn't need to shave there! Odd, huh?
Funny, how our bodies are made to strive for reaching normalcy, for balance again, isn't it?!?
Glad to see that you're feeling better!
Your little legs were probably screaming... "Hey whatcha doin'? Ouch. That hurts!"
:)
Hee hee - I love that hairy moment title! I bet you never thought long ago how happy you would be to have to shave your legs! Excellent!
I never thought I would hear someone is happy about shaving... but hey... so very happy for you, its a good sign...you are getting back to yourself...May God continue watching over you
Yay for you, indeed! :)
Yay for you! Loved Karen's comment about our bodies striving for normalcy...so glad you can experience this little bit of "normal"!
all that cash you saved when hairless matters not when you finally can shave your legs again..
