Taxotere side effeects suck! It really did a number on my nails too. It also scarred my tear ducts closed. I required tear duct surgery to unblock them. It really made a difference, except for the 1 duct that was too severely blocked to put the tube into....so 5 years later I still look like I am crying all the time (but only from 1 eye if you are observant.) I hope the taxotere is doing an amazing job of destroying cancer cells too.

I wish I'd read your blog in June! PenLac is the BEST treatment for nails! I used it like nail polish and didn't have problems with my nails when I was on Taxotere! Ask your Dr. about it! Blessings,

Hope your nails continue to improve. How long were you taking taxatore?
It took months for my nails to grow back as well!

WhiteStone, I was on Taxotere for about 14 months ... from August 2008 to October 2009.
