The Fight Continues

This has been a weekend filled with sad news on two fronts. There is a new cancer diagnosis in my family, my niece’s husband, a young man of 34 with two small children. My niece and nephew are in another city and I don’t know how I can help just yet.

And the loss of two fellow cancer bloggers, over this past week … Raden Galoh from OneBreastBouncing and Barry Fraser from An Explorer’s View of Life. Each has lost their brave long fight... I’ll truly miss you both …a lot.

Sometimes it can be mentally hard to keep it all positive. To help me out, I like this well-done music video about a personal fight. Why? Because it moves me…and maybe you too.

Daria, so sorry for all the bad news. There are times when it all just piles up doesn't it? I wish you niece's husband all the strength he needs.

And nice on the vid.

Daria, I am so sorry to hear about your nieces husband. It seems that this disease is just getting more and more pervasive and it is extremely frightening. My thoughts are with your family right now.

Hope to see you soon.

Oh sweetie, I am so sorry to hear of the recent diagnosis in your family, I know you will find in your own time a way to help, sometimes caring is enough.
I felt dreadful over dear Barry, I didn't know of your other friend.
It seems one step forward and two steps back doesn't it....I just know someday in someway cancer will be cured.....Big Hugs to you

Daria, I pray there will be some spark of HOPE; it seems the tragedy of life/death surrounds us always.

My thouights are with you
