Feeling so Tired

Yesterday about mid morning my nose was running like a tap, so I decided to take a Benadryl. It didn’t take long before I became drowsy so I laid down for a two hour nap. Benadryl effects usually last four hours. A little later I got myself together for my weekly PICC line dressing change at the clinic.

I didn’t feel very energetic for the remainder of the afternoon and I started feeling super drowsy after supper. Later, D asked if I wanted to go for a walk? I said no thanks, I think I’m going to bed. This morning and 12 hours later, I woke up feeling pretty good.

So what could have caused me to be so tired? … well we’ve been experiencing poor air quality since Thursday. Maybe it was the big anniversary do with the girls combined the outing with C and the Benadryl all added together.

Daria, take care of yourself right now with the air quality. I heard that all the fires that are burning here in BC are affecting the air all the way to Winnipeg. To many fires are still burning here and hopefully we will get some rain soon.
Please look after yourself!

maybe it was just One of Those Days. everyone has them - we sometimes forget that. I am glad you are feeling better though. I get those days sometimes - thankfully a lot less than I used to. It's like walking through sand...everything weighs a ton and the lethargy is unbelieveable.

Have a good weekend :o)

Sometimes if I have a really busy day and take a Benadryl, it knocks me for a loop. All I want to do is sleep. Hoping it just a combination of everything..Take care of you.

No doubt the air quality, combined with your disease, has made you feel poorly. You were wise to listen to your body and give it what it needed. Hope you feel a little stronger this week! Hang in there.

Smoke isn't as bad as it has been sweetie, hang in there. Benadryl will make you tired every time. Tomorrow will be a much better day I promise. Keeping you in my heart and prayers.......:-) Hugs

Benadryl knocks me out for 8 hours and during that time I'm a drooling mess. They had to give me only half doses of it at the hospital. Perhaps your body just needed some serious refreshing.
