I’m still trying to recover from the effects of the chemo. The fatigue really makes me feel frustrated, agitated and full of negative emotions. Sometimes I rely on the Ativan to calm myself for the night time sleep but it makes me so groggy during the day that I don’t really like to take it either ... it’s a tricky balancing act.
Already feeling a bit down and depressed I watched the news last night only to find out that Patrick Swayze died from his cancer. Then shortly after that they announced a local lady who had been in the news quite a bit also died from her cancer. Then blogging in the evening I read one of my fellow cancer bloggers died. I was definitely worked up and I ended up having a rough sleep.
I’m usually pretty strong but yesterday was a tough day.

I am so sorry to hear that you are really down Daria. Today I changed my heading on my blog and added this:
"Accept what is today and tomorrow will be a new day".
I hope that will be the case for you.
Gentle hugs.
Jill.
Sorry to hear you're not feeling well--hope better days come soon!
Sweetie, those days happen. And when we are already low, to hear of others who have left this worldy life from cancer, it hits us like a brick wall. We feel it so deeply.
Rest and find comfort in something you love (or someone!) and tomorrow will be a new, different day ♥
I'm so sorry about your blogger friend. Chemo fatigue affects me the same way. I know how difficult it can be to shake the feeling, especially when confronted with the many events of the day. Do your best and know that I'm thinking of you and sending you hugs and positive vibes.

Hi Daria,
I'm sorry to hear you're having such a rough day. That was certainly a lot of bad news to digest...
Hang on in there -- I hope your spirits will lift soon and you'll feel better and stronger.
Thinking of you!
Bugger. Last night I watched One Last Dance with Patrick Swayze in it....sigh.
Love to you
xx
You ARE strong, but its okay and only natural to feel weak at times. After I dropped Ron off at the hospital for Chemo this morning, I cried for the first time since learning his cancer was active again. I needed that! Yes, it is very sad to hear of people dying from Cancer (and a little too close to home). They would want us to keep fighting... I remember Farrah Fawcett saying something to that effect in her documentary. So, do it for them and all those that love you!
So sorry that this day has been so sad for you and that you are so tired. Hope today brings more energy.
Daria, Let others be strong for you. Women always have to be the strong one and not let their feelings out, but I think that's not healthy. Let others give you strength. Yesterday's news - with all the deaths from cancer - would be difficult for a lot of people.
Hope you were able to enjoy the day today. Thinking about you.
Hi Daria
I hope you have a better day tomorrow, yes life at times is not a fun, easy place.
my thoughts are with you
Stay well , hugs
I didn't sleep last night either.
I just found out I'm headed back into treatment, and that a local boy that I was going to ask about this process that did my treatment died a few months ago.
So I turned on the news to forget about cancer only to hear the original dirty dancer died.
Someday's it's all to much... I'm going to see if I have ativan left over too!
Oh Daria, as you well know some days it is just too much. Take a deep breath and know that this too will pass and better days are ahead. Battle On!
