Xeloda has to be taken with food twice a day.<br /><br />Yeah, this is a big deal! You HAVE to take it with food. When I took Xeloda I was part of a clinical trial. Three pills in the morning and three pills at night. I was so sick from not eating that I got to the point where I forgot if I had even eaten or drank anything the entire day and that went on for 12 days.<br /><br />I ended up in the hospital for 11 days and almost died.
